The circuit board design is one of my personal favourites. After designing and knitting nature-inspired patterns, I wanted to prove to myself that brioche can be futuristic and “no nonsense”. When I saw these shiny, variegated yarns, they literally screamed “circuit boards” at me.
The scarf is a large “man size” and knitted in 4 skeins of one variegated colour which reminds of the many shades of shiny metal. This results in the many different greys blending in constantly new combinations across the fabric. The scarf is slightly wider along the edge, with angled sides. The edge of the hat has an equally scalloped edge and no ribs. The fabric is beautifully soft and luxurious.
