Trachten

Welcome to my Trachten pattern sales page.

With each pattern you will find a link which will direct you to its’ Ravelry page. All patterns are also available on my Ravelry Designer page: https://www.ravelry.com/designers/anja-sammon. On Ravelry, you will find a safe PayPal payment link with the pattern you choose. Alternative, you can find each pattern on the LoveCrafts webpage . If you can not access Ravelry or LoveCrafts, please Contact me and I will email you a direct download.

I try to keep my instructions clear and easy to read, but please contact me if you have any questions or problems with following a pattern, and I will be glad to help. If you are new to any of the techniques in your pattern and like a hand, please contact me and I will try to help you with your progress.

I use experience levels of “beginner” (patterns to use combinations of knits, purls and yarn overs, with minimal finishing), “intermediate” (these patterns use more challenging stitch combinations – like increases, decreases and some minimal colourwork – and finishing), and “experienced” (these patterns require your concentration throughout).

The yarns I used are merely suggestions and I would encourage you to experiment with the colours and qualities you enjoy most. For good stitch definition, rich and earthy colours and simply for traditional reasons, German Trachten garments call for wool and linen.

Unfortunately, patterns cannot be returned, as you receive them in download format. Patterns are written as pdf documents and download to the email address you provide; please allow for 24 hours for your pattern to arrive. It will be sent to you from the email address julchenknits@yahoo.com

Please contact me if you encounter problems with your download. If you have any ideas on how to improve or add to a pattern I would love to hear from you!

Happy knitting! 🙂
